I'm sorry to everyone who sees this more than once, but it is important.

Something happened sunday morning at the hotel where I work. It was disturbing and bothered me a great deal.

Around 9:10 am I was in the office with the woman coming on shift to relive me when we heard shouting out on the breezeway behind the office. I ran out to investigate just in time to see one of our other employees dash round the corner after two men pulling one of our houskeepers in tow. By the time I got to where they had disappeared, they were just driving off, while the other employee got the license plate number.
Apparently these two men were known to the girl, but they came up uninvited and started yelling at her. When one of the other houskeepers, a big guy btw, got involved; they started a physical fight with him. When the other employee came out to break up the fight, they pushed past him, grabbed the girl, and drug her unwillingly protesting into their truck, and drove off with her.
What is even more disturbing about this follows now; When we called the police, they ran the license plate number, on the hulking GMC sierra they we're drivin and the plates came back for a Lincoln town car. Clearly stolen plates. Everyone who witnessed told them that these men came up unprovoked, assaulted two of our employees and dragged a third from the porperty against her will; AND THE POLICE DID NOTHING~!!!!! That's right, absolutely nothing. They took a report, and put an APB out on the car, but refused to come up and take statments or do any investigating because: "We didn't have enough information for them to go on."
Seriously, how F*cked up is that?! You have tresspassing, assualt, and abduction, clearly witnessed by about half a dozen people. They had descriptions of the guys, and their truck. Definite knowledge that the truck had the wrong plates on it, and they still did nothing! How is that even leagal, let alone moral. It's wrong. Despite my unhappy dealings with the police in general, I still expected better of our local dept.
What is even worse is that we can't report her missing unless she fails to show up for her next shift, which is on THURSDAY~!!!! Anything could happen to her between now and then! I am at a complete loss as to what to do, except get the word out so that people know. Although I, or one of the other employees, will be making a complaint to the county sheriff's office. What else can I do?
This really makes me doubt my own safety in the hands of the local P.D. And I am outraged for my coworkers sake...
